It was early Sunday morning when a contingency of great women who were part of the fellowship and gathering of Jesus Christ took the courage to go to what seemed at the time a no-go area. This area was heavily guarded, along the way these women began to discuss and plan around the gigantic stone which was used as a door that sealed the tomb of Jesus, they began asking themselves how are we going to enter the tomb of Jesus? Who is going to roll away the stone? As they approached the grave, these women began to realize that this stone was rolled away.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is a significant event in Christianity that continues to inspire and shape the lives of believers today. One of the most remarkable aspects of this event is the role that women played in it. As the Gospels tell us, it was a group of brave women who discovered the empty tomb of Jesus on the morning of the third day. This discovery would go on to change the course of history, giving birth to a new era of hope and possibility. In this article, we will explore the profound significance of this event and how it continues to propel us forward as we navigate our lives in the light of the resurrection. We will examine how women were given the apostolic mantle in the resurrection dispensation and how meeting in Galilee after Jesus' resurrection was a preparation for great things to come.

Women Find the Empty Tomb of Jesus

When these women began to get even closer to the grave, they found that even inside the grave there was no one. Jesus was not where they were expecting to find Him. This is one of the biggest miracles, when they went inside the tomb, they found the presence of angels. Matthew 28:7 says: “And go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.” After the resurrection of Jesus, the angels told the women to move with speed and not with haste. This message was prophetic for their lives moving forward that whatever aspirations they have, the power of the resurrection of Jesus would propel them to achieve it. Child of God every single delay over your life is moving out quickly because of the power that is in the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Women are Given the Apostolic Mantle in the Resurrection Dispensation

The apostolic mantle in the resurrection dispensation was given to women. The message that came to them was that they must move quickly, that they need to move with speed, that they need to move with energy, and that they must not delay! God is saying to us we need to apply energy after the resurrection because life has been evident after this experience. God is telling women not to relax; God is telling women not to give up on their dreams. There were two episodes that dumbfounded history, one was the birth of Jesus, and the second episode was His resurrection the common thing we see as we investigate is the fact that in both these episodes women were there, and God entrusted great tasks upon women.

This shows that when women arise from their state of timidity and arise from obliviousness, great things begin to happen.

The Power of the Resurrection Propels Us Forward

There are certain situations and things in our lives that happen, these things cause us to wonder whether there will ever be a way out. The story of the resurrection gives us hope that we can rise and realize the freshness of a new dispensation over our lives. Notice and understand that a total turnaround in your relationships, your health, your career, and in the lives of your loved ones is taking place. History took place on Sunday morning because women gathered their courage, stopped being timid, and decided to follow Jesus even when the odds did not seem favorable.

Child of God, do not allow yourself to be intimidated. Do not allow yourself to be crushed. It does not matter where you come from or the background you experienced, arise in the knowledge of Christ, and do not be intimidated. Jesus revealed Himself to the women in Matthew 28: 10 we read: “Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.” Three times a year men were supposed to celebrate three festivals: The Passover festival, the Pentecost, and the third one is the Feast of the Tabernacles. All these were happening in Jerusalem, but this time around Jesus instructed them to come to meet Him in Galilee. What was the significance of meeting in Galilee?

The Significance of Meeting in Galilee

Galilee is a multicultural province Jesus was positioning them to learn and undergo training for 40 days and learn how to interact with different nations. This time around Jesus is saying He will implant in us skills that will enable us to interact in a non-linear manner. This is a prophetic message that Jesus is bringing to us that we will be multi-dimensional beings. Strength is coming to us; we are going to be multifaceted. Galilee is where they learned about speed, Galilee is where God accelerated their pace, and where an infusion of skills took place before Jesus ascended.

Galilee the Preparation for Great Things to Come

When they came back to Jerusalem before the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) Jesus told them to go to the upper room, so that they would receive the empowerment to practice in Jerusalem what they learned in Galilee. That they would be able to address the many nations that were to be in Jerusalem. God is bringing this message to you because your season of elevation has come. Jesus is positioning you for a place of prominence and in that place, different issues, portfolios, and matters of the community and society will require the skills that He has entrusted you with. Galilee was the preparation of great things that were coming. Everything that happens after the resurrection is not by coincidence. After the resurrection experience, you cannot delay your dreams and hopes for your future. Whatever seemed like a gigantic trial over your life, causing you to doubt God’s ability and His power, that trial is going to move! The Lord Jehovah will move it out of your life. What you were not able to achieve, God will cause you to achieve it.
