CTCM Communique 05-08-2022: Apostle General Jannie Ngwale gets a lifetime achievement
On the 4th August 2022 our very own father Apostle Jannie Ngwale, was bestowed with the “Life Time Achievement Award”, by the Black Agencies Network Associations and the Presidency of the Republic of South Africa.
This award comes because of his pioneering spirit, being one of the very few black trailblazers in the advertising industry, who repositioned the brands of South Africa strategically at the dawn of democracy.
He was the first to be bold and launched adverts in South African black languages, he rebranded state owned enterprises such as Eskom, SABC, South African tourism just to name a few. Through his work such as “I am an African” and “Molo Mhlobo wam”, it gave for the first time in South African history, black people a sense of pride and ownership of our “blackness”.
Throughout the evening heavy weight leaders and influencers such as Mr Groovin Nchabeleng, Peter Vundla and many more echoed that Apostle Jannie Ngwale is a “LEGEND”!
We celebrate as the CTCM nation our father, a transformational legend and trailblazer!
