Individuals facing afflictions and challenges in their lives and yearning for a breakthrough from the burdens of breakdowns are invited to explore a powerful message of hope and deliverance from the book of Psalms. King David, himself a refugee, penned these words as a testament to God's unwavering faithfulness in the face of adversity.

Many Are the Afflictions of the Righteous

In Psalm 34:19, David acknowledges the reality of afflictions. Often, the focus lies on this initial stanza and the torments experienced by the righteous. However, the message delves deeper. God addresses specifically those in right standing with Him. Though afflictions may abound, it is crucial not to overlook the subsequent stanza where David proclaims that God cancels out them.

The Promise of Deliverance

God's promise extends far beyond delivering individuals from select afflictions; it encompasses a comprehensive rescue. God stands ready to deliver His followers from every situation, circumstance, and torment encountered. The nature or age of the affliction is inconsequential; God's promise remains steadfast. He will deliver His followers from all afflictions. It is essential to reflect upon the afflictions one faces at present and find solace in knowing that God's hands are poised to snatch them away, rescuing individuals from the grip of these challenges.

Breakthrough from Breakdowns

No matter the breakdowns that have occurred in one's life, a message of hope is proclaimed. God has commissioned the declaration that a breakthrough is on the horizon. Aptly titled "Breakthrough from Breakdowns," this message signifies that breakdowns do not define individuals but rather pave the way for breakthroughs.

Understanding Righteousness

Comprehending righteousness in this context is crucial. Human righteousness, rooted in personal actions, holds no merit before God. It is futile to strive for righteousness through one's own efforts. Instead, individuals must align themselves with Jesus Christ, the embodiment of God's approved standard of righteousness. Through Him, individuals attain the righteousness of God.

Approaching the High God

Micah raises an essential question: How can one stand before the holy and majestic Creator? No earthly offering or sacrifice can compare to the worthiness required to enter God's presence. Such a privilege comes at a great cost that material possessions or wealth cannot secure. Approaching God is not achieved through worldly means; it is only made possible through the righteousness found in Jesus Christ.

In conclusion, the promise of deliverance conveyed in Psalm 34:19 serves as a potent reminder that God stands ready to rescue His followers from all afflictions. Personal righteousness is not based on individual actions but rather on alignment with Jesus Christ, who embodies God's approved standard. When confronted with life's breakdowns, individuals can find solace in the assurance that a breakthrough is on the horizon. God remains faithful to His promises, and the anticipated deliverance will manifest in due course. Embracing the hope provided and anticipating the breakthrough is key.
