Scripture Reading: Romans 12: 2 (NIV)
At times, there may seem to be a perpetual battle that occurs in your mind. A battle that comes to challenge you. Battles of this nature usually hinge on your mindset, your soul, and your psyche. Whether you win or lose the battle, is your choice. The world follows a particular pattern that wants to fashion your orientation. Ultimately, its end goal is to mold who you become. Romans 12: 2 (NIV) encourages us to stand in direct opposition to the patterns of this world through the renewing of our minds.
2 Corinthians 10: 3 highlights that although we live in this world, we do not wage war as the world does. As a matter of fact, the character of our weapons has divine power to demolish strongholds in the area of your mind. These weapons arrest anything that stands in direct contradiction to God's Word. Please be aware that the denouement of your life is largely influenced by your major thoughts. Philippians 4: 8 (NLT) indicates that we have authority over our thought life. God has endowed us with the ability to scrutinize what comes into our minds.
The mind anchors what you become in this life. Therefore, once you transform your mind your situation will also transform. Habakkuk 2: 2 gives great insight: the renewal of your mind has to be set in stone. In other words, the vision that you have for your life has to be written down and made visible. This is the beginning of your metamorphosis.
In conclusion, child of God, you need to write down your vision, see your vision, speak your vision, and finally, you need to stand in faith because faith does not yield to the patterns of this world.
