Our time here on earth is often met with all sorts of trials and tribulations and perhaps the most emotional trial we go through is that of rejection.
Being rejected can be so damaging to our sense of value and worth and the pain of being rejected whether by our family, friends, a romantic partner, or at the workplace can knock the very breath of our lungs.
The word of God is our defense beloved! When David was rejected by his own father Jesse, he was deeply hurt. In his pain, however, David did something remarkable! He made the choice to trust in the Lord and encourage himself in the Lord for his approval, strength and validation, and value! In turn, for so doing, the Lord blessed David, anointed him, and made him the chief cornerstone previously rejected by the builder (His father Jesse).
Beloved, it matters not who has rejected you. When you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior every rejection was canceled!
No rejection will cancel the future God has set for you. Trust in the Lord your God and at the right time he will make it happen for you, this is the Conquering way!
