Resurrection Sunday is the most important commemorative day on our Christian calendar. It is the very reason we can be 'born again' for the precious blood of the lamb on Calvary was spilt for our redemption and reconciliation to our God our Father.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved John 3:16-17
Jesus paid the ultimate price for us to have the opportunity at reconciliation and unity with God. He paid for our sins in full leaving nothing in arrears. In his last moments before concluding on this great sacrifice, he declared that "It is finished" every transgression, every iniquity, he paid for us in full! And now all God's goodness and mercy is fully accessible to all who will accept his great gift.
Jesus gave his life so that we might gain life, and gain it in abundance (John 10:10) and by his stripes healing is now our portion (Isaiah 53:5) and by his blood so to is redemption. Nothing in our lives can ever stand against the blood of Jesus Christ our Redeemer!
He is Risen, and by this we Conquer!
