It's a miracle, not only because his eyes were opened. But because from this day forth, he would cease to depend on others. This passage of scripture calls for understanding. This miracle Jesus Christ performed goes beyond the physicality, with the goal to transform our lives. Child of God, the Lord is appealing to your perspective. Yes, He will give you luxury cars, holiday homes, and a life of opulence but He wants to go deeper than the material things. When the Apostle Peter told Jesus that "thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God", it was proof that he had an unfamiliar understanding of who He was walking with. Jesus Christ took it further, to enlighten His disciples that He would have to face persecution for the fulfillment of God's agenda. You have chosen to follow the Lord. And you will be persecuted. Therefore, arm yourselves with the same power, the same attitude, and the same psychological orientation that Jesus Christ possesses. Decide that you will stand, stand, and above all, you shall stand.
